Scariest jump ever!

I’ve wanted to send this cliff jump for ages now! When we first moved to town, we saw the jump, and I immediately thought to myself “hey self, would it be possible to send this on a bike?”

Well, an idea is one thing, but actually executing it is often far more difficult! In this case, my nerves were firing MASSIVELY! The jump was big, about 35’ high, and that’s about 34’ higher than I’ve ever dove into water. However, it’s a popular spot for cliff jumpers. I’ve seen plenty of people do this jump (sans bike) so I had a good idea that’s safe and possible. However, it’s late summer, and water levels are at an all time low.

When we first pulled in, there was no one in the water. Then after checking the depth and doing some practice jumps at a lower height, a local named Logan showed up and did the jump, proving that it was safe. I figured hey, it’s clearly doable! But my nerves were on high alert!

After checking all my details, I had to decide if it was worth it or not. Watch the vid and see what happens next!
