Ok a hike?
His 'dream car' might just surprise you!

Every now and then you find out that a friend has something really cool up their sleeve- in this case, my buddy Bryan has a super unique, a 1959 MGA1600. This British made sports car is a total classic, and Bryan drives it about 1,000 miles a year. I’d never driven a car this old, so it was a fun chance to try something new!

If I Rode This Every Day, I'd Be Unstoppable!!!

Every now and then I hear about an “impossible” mountain bike climb, usually then followed by the words “hike-a-bike”. Sometimes such a description is indeed fitting, but in this case, my buddy Bobby said that the climb might not actually be impossible. This is the climb from the highway up Mt Lemmon on Bug Springs trail, followed by the brief, yet still challenging, climb at the mid point of the trail.

To celebrate these rad ascents, we found a fun rock feature, which resulted in my tumbling nearly 8’ when I got off line.

surviving or thriving? 72 hours of desert

Mountain biking in sunny Arizona is phenomenal! In a twist of events, I ended up with airfare to Mesa (a suburb of Phoenix) for a long weekend. With no real “budget” or anything, I just wanted to ride with some locals, getting as much bike time as possible, and hopefully with minimal cactus incidents!

While in the state for only 72 hours, I was lucky enough to ride South Mountain extensively, including Devastator, Geronimo, National, and Mormon trails. I also rode Pass Mountain Trail, as well as some trails over at Hawes. And to cap it all off, we had a RAD ride on Mt Lemmon down in Tuscon. So much fun!
